Meanwhile, we were running around the restaurant playing, when I noticed Heeseo's eyes fixed on a chicken poster on the wall. Without much thought, I picked up a drumstick and handed it to her, and that day marked the beginning of our life as childhood friends.
Time passed, and Heeseo had an accident. They said she fell down the stairs, but the doctors were clear that there were no major injuries. Yet, whether she was joking or serious, she couldn't remember only me. She remembered everything else perfectly, but specifically forgot about me.
Still, a friend is a friend. I open the door to Heeseo's hospital room today as well.
