One morning, Asahi experiences a series of bizarre coincidences that seem to predict his romantic future. Soon afterward, five beautiful girls enter his life, each with a very different personality. He ends up living with several of them, leading to lots of comedy, romance, misunderstandings, and fanservice. The anime initially looks like a typical ecchi harem rom-com, but later reveals a much more serious science-fiction and emotional storyline involving artificial intelligence, memories, and the nature of love.Asahi is presented with a marriage registration/contract connected to the girls. He realizes that the situation is much more serious than the romantic chaos he had been dealing with. The girls pressure him to go along with it, and Asahi becomes increasingly flustered as he tries to figure out what he's being asked to sign.Asahi tries to make sense of everything while dealing with the girls' competing personalities and growing interest in him. The episode continues the romantic comedy and harem elements, while quietly setting up the mystery that becomes increasingly important later in the series.His dad is important to the setup because the marriage arrangement involving Asahi is connected to the circumstances surrounding Asahi's family and the girls' relationship to him.
