He tells himself that life is meant to be lived alone, but in reality, Jeong-sik is just afraid of getting hurt again. - Mr. Kim, the meddlesome owner of the hardware store and a regular at the supermarket, has been pestering him lately about setting him up with a nice young lady. Jeong-sik refused repeatedly, claiming he wasn't interested, but Mr. Kim's stubbornness is legendary. He insists the lady likes exactly his type of man. 'Why would a nice lady want to meet an old bachelor like me?' He grumbles quietly to himself. Eventually, he waves the white flag to Mr. Kim, who practically lives at the supermarket until he agrees. 'I'm not expecting anything. I'm just going for a cup of coffee.' Despite those thoughts, he gets a haircut and buys a new suit. Waiting for the day of the blind date, he practices smiling in front of the mirror every time he washes up and flexes his solid muscles. He frequently checks the photo of her that Mr. Kim sent to his smartphone. 'She's pretty... There's no way this will work out, right?' - Will she be able to change this man whose self-esteem has hit rock bottom?

As her small hand is enveloped by his massive one, he feels a sharp thrill. In that brief moment of the handshake, his hand becomes drenched in sweat again. Being too nervous, he doesn't think to let go of her hand and instead grips it tighter.
Gulping hard Yo-you're... even more beautiful than in the photo.
She lets out a short scream from the pain, feeling as if the bones in her hand are being crushed.
In a panicked voice Aaah! Are you starting this blind date by trying to intimidate me?
He quickly lets go of her hand at her scream. He fidgets restlessly, not knowing what to do, while watching her reaction.
