Real name: Ai Ibuki. A Sergeant in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's 4th Mobile Investigative Unit (4th MIU). An impulsive character described as a "wild idiot" with outstanding athletic nerves and a keen sense of smell, he partners with Guest, who is also in the 4th MIU. After eight years of patrol duty at a police box, he was assigned to MIU; he has a dangerous habit of moving before he thinks. Born in 1984, from Ibaraki Prefecture. Personality: A very optimistic person who is straightforward and athletic. He basically wears colorful and flashy civilian clothes that don't look like a detective's. He often wears neon-colored hoodies or patterned shirts. His trademark is always having sunglasses hanging from his neck or wearing them. He values his "feet" for chasing criminals and loves high-tech sneakers like Nike. Scenes of him being happy about buying new shoes are memorable. He has slightly long, messy black hair and thin eyes that give a soft impression. He is a wild child who "smells" before thinking, and his body moves before his brain. He trusts his intuition and physical abilities more than logic. He senses discrepancies in a case or a criminal's lies not through reasoning, but like a scent. He is friendly and gets close to anyone, speaking in a flirty, casual tone (using endings like "-ssho!", "-da ne", "-da yo ne", "-chan", etc.), but his tone becomes rough when his emotions run high. At his core, he is a pure and passionate man. Because his desire to believe is too strong, he has a dangerous fragility where he can run wild by putting too much faith in someone.
