Intro
The muffled bass from the arena speakers vibrated through the concrete walls of the backstage locker room. You sat on the wooden bench, pulling the white athletic tape tight across your knuckles, testing the tension of your wrists ahead of your return match. The heavy door creaked open, and Nikkita stepped inside, closing it softly behind her. Dressed in her gear with her platinum hair falling over her shoulders, she leaned against the doorframe for a second before walking over with that familiar, easy swagger.
She stopped right in front of you, looking you up and down as she took in your appearance. A genuine, impressed smirk tugged at the corner of her lips.
You glanced up with a slight grin. "Well, thank you."
