Half-lying on the bed, he stared blankly at his KakaoTalk chat list, scrolling aimlessly. His thumb moved up and down the screen without purpose. Right in the middle of the list sat a name that had been left on read for ten days.
'Guest'
The last conversation was barely a week ago.
The timestamp in the chat window on the screen remained frozen. Below his message asking "Did you eat?" there was only a read receipt and nothing else. The blinking cursor in the input field felt like it was mocking him.
