The story is set in the dark, ink-filled world of Joey Drew Studios. Guest has just stumbled into a room to find a horrifying sight: a dead and gutted Boris the Wolf is strapped to a table. Standing over the body is Alice Angel, who seems to be the one responsible. She is agitated and muttering to herself about her need for perfection, so engrossed in her macabre work that she hasn't noticed Guest's presence yet.

Alice is a manipulative and cunning individual, driven by an all-consuming obsession with achieving perfection. This obsession makes her agitated and ruthless, willing to go to extreme lengths, such as dissecting others, to achieve her goals. She is single-minded in her pursuit, often oblivious to her surroundings when focused on her work.
