He insists, "I can see just fine in 16:9 widescreen." Rumors circulate in class that his eyes "open a little" only during basketball games or when he gets serious during a test, but no one has ever witnessed it. Since he always listens with a smile, people find him easy to talk to, but in reality, he's usually thinking about something like "What should I have for lunch today?" He's a genius at deflating tension. When a friend is talking passionately, he'll chime in with a perfectly misplaced, "Ah, I get it, I get it. By the way, does that taste good?" Generally low-tension, he occasionally drops a blunt, deadpan observation about his friends' antics without changing his expression. His hit rate for these remarks is abnormally high.

Shohei Oishi Class 2-1 Fair-skinned with wavy hair, member of the Go-Home Club. He used to be in the basketball club but quit because the practice was too intense and he didn't get along with the coach. He's the type who honestly voices his complaints about the coach and his "I'm done with this" feelings. He's a relatable high schooler who isn't too serious but can't bring himself to be a complete delinquent either. He serves as the main engine of conversation (the straight man/facilitator), constantly calling out Kiyoshi's "low-energy laziness" with lines like, "You definitely aren't listening to me!" Although he finally joined the Go-Home Club as he wished, now that he has free time after school, he often finds himself wondering, "...So, what now?" He ends up killing time by loitering in someone's classroom or tagging along to buy snacks.

Jo Shinba Class 2-3 Brown wavy hair, glasses, and a sharp, piercing gaze. Member of the basketball club. A gamer and VTuber otaku. With his brown wavy hair, black-rimmed glasses, and naturally sharp sanpaku eyes, he's often misunderstood as a "delinquent" or "angry" by people meeting him for the first time. However, he's actually very laid-back. His sharp gaze is simply the result of chronic dry eye and sleep deprivation from staying up late glued to his screen watching games and stream archives.

Naoki Sagisaka Class 2-3 Member of the soccer club, a ladies' man. A handsome blonde. He has bright hair that pushes the limits of school regulations. With his well-featured face, he always radiates a refreshing (yet somewhat playboy-ish) aura. Though labeled a "ladies' man," he isn't the type to get into messy love triangles; he's just naturally charming and kind to everyone (especially girls), doling out compliments as easily as breathing. He's physically affectionate and maintains a close distance even with male friends. He has the mental fortitude to laugh off Kiyoshi's low-energy insults with a "Whoa, Kiyoshi, so cold!" Because he's popular with girls, his male friends basically treat him as an "enemy" or a "toy," making him the target of their jokes and the butt of every punchline.

Hiroki Sakurai Class 2-4 Member of the track and field club. Student Council President. With short black hair and a perfectly worn uniform, he has the absolute trust of the teachers. He has a lean, efficient physique built from track (long-distance running). He maintains perfect honorifics and a smile during student council work or school assemblies, but when he's with his male friends, he loosens his tie and reverts to a normal high school boy's way of speaking. This group is the only place where he grumbles, "Man, today's staff meeting was so long..." He's basically the stabilizer for the group. However, because everyone else is so free-spirited, he always ends up getting dragged into their antics and holding his head in his hands. He's the one desperately trying to stop Sagisaka from causing girl trouble or Shinba from trying to watch VTuber streams on the clubroom Wi-Fi, often brandishing his "authority" as president to no avail. He's the one who provides the Student Council Room as the "ultimate after-school hangout spot." Even while saying, "Guys, this is the Student Council Room, okay? Don't get the documents dirty! Kiyoshi, don't eat potato chips there!" he ends up staying late with them, eating the snacks they brought. His tone is gentle. Actually more popular than Naoki.

Takuya Tani Class 2-5 Member of the basketball club. Normally has plain black hair. However, he snatched a bottle of hair dye that Naoki said was "leftover," and rubbed it in his hair in the bathroom without even looking in the mirror. As a result, only the left side of his head and the tips on the right are a bleached-out blonde that didn't quite take, failing even to look like "inner color." To everyone else, he just looks like someone who failed a club punishment game. He's a genius at finding the coach's blind spots. During practice, he'll dash intensely only when the coach is looking at the opposite court, and the moment the coach turns around, he'll put his hands on his knees and pretend to be dying, panting "Haa... haa..." During free throw practice, he only jumps into the line when it's his turn to shoot, and for some reason, he's always in the bathroom during ball-retrieval time. He looks down on almost everyone.

Ryo Suzumura Class 2-1 Member of the archery club. A 160cm shorty who loves manga and the NBA. Though small, his back muscles and core—necessary for drawing a bow—are incredibly ripped. When he takes his shirt off, he has a surprisingly masculine physique. He knows more about NBA tactics and player data than the actual basketball club members, often ranting, "Did you see Curry's 3-pointer yesterday?!" or "That step-back was insane!" The basketball players tell him every week, "Dude, just join the basketball club already." He's the group's primary jokester. Tani looks down on him the most.

Rui Maezono Class 2-1 Member of the baseball club. He and Ryo take turns reading Jump magazine. Being in the baseball club, his hairstyle is a buzz cut that's grown out into a crew cut. Standing at 176cm, he has broad shoulders and a solid build from daily swings and mud-covered practice. He has a straightforward, somewhat simple personality with no twisted bones in his body. He's easily influenced by manga; right after reading a hot development in Jump, his motivation for club practice skyrockets. Straight man (tsukkomi) role.
