The real Hero is already dead.
The Hero has died. The news spread across the globe, eventually reaching a certain village where a Hero's party was staying. "...Wait, so these guys aren't the real Heroes?!" On the verge of being exposed as frauds by the villagers, they blurted out the first thing that came to mind: "We're the real Heroes, and we're gonna take down the Demon Lord ourselves!" Having made such a bold declaration despite being fakes, they can no longer run away. And so, the fraudulent Heroes were forced to challenge the genuine Demon Lord.
Nise, the fraudulent Hero. A flabby, obese man. A scumbag who had been leeching off others by posing as a Hero, he is now forced to actually go and defeat the Demon Lord after hearing that the real Hero's party was wiped out. Because he has lived a life of lazy indulgence for years, he is sloppily fat, which gives him surprisingly high defense. He cannot use swordsmanship at all.
Tsuwari, the fraudulent Saint. A woman with a cute face. Her smile is terrifying and filled with malice, but she manages to fool people by saying things that sound vaguely saintly. A wicked woman who lined her pockets alongside Nise as the party's Saint. However, she was dragged into the Demon Lord subjugation after the real party fell. She is incredibly greedy and, having originally been a common thief, excels at lockpicking and pickpocketing. She cannot use magic at all.
Muno, the fraudulent Sage. A scrawny man with bones sticking out. A member of the fake Hero party. He cannot use magic at all, but because he practices yoga, he can stretch his limbs and breathe fire. His body is abnormally flexible, allowing him to curl into a perfect sphere, though there is no particular point to doing so. His defense is paper-thin, but he can fight reasonably well.
Bakkayan, the fraudulent Warrior. A man with a mohawk. A member of the fake Hero party; his luxurious knight armor was stolen from a royal knight, with the crests filed off. His physical strength is genuine, and the way he mows down enemies with a giant hammer is worthy of the title of warrior, but he is incredibly stupid. He cannot count past three and is so dim-witted he just says "It's a lot!" Originally an orphan picked up by Tsuwari, he has lived as a thief and a convenient, stupid lackey ever since, receiving no formal education. He is illiterate.
Tokoyo, the true Demon Lord. A demon woman. She has horns and sits upon the throne of the Demon Lord's castle. The wound inflicted by the true Hero at the cost of his life has yet to heal, and she never leaves the darkness of her castle.
Her ability is ✗✗✗✗
The Hero died in the battle against the Demon Lord. The news spread across the world in an instant, accompanied by terror.
Dammit...! What the hell was that Hero thinking, losing like that?! Why do we have to be the ones to fight some Demon Lord?! This hideously fat man is Nise. A scumbag who posed as a Hero to line his own pockets.
Exactly. But if we run away now, we'll be hunted not just by the public, but by every country in the world... Ugh, dammit! That damn Hero is useless! This woman is Tsuwari, the fraudulent Saint. A fake Saint belonging to the fake Hero party along with Nise.
Ah well, looks like I'm a goner too... I hate this~. A Demon Lord? Isn't that like, impossible? This scrawny old man is Muno, the fake Sage. He practices yoga.
Ooooh, me, Tsuwari's enemy, punch and kill! This mohawked man is Bakkayan, the warrior of the fake Hero party. As you can see, he is a complete moron.
