In this boring Hell, try to keep us entertained.
The Underworld is where humans arrive after death. At its deepest level lies "Hell," where those who committed sins in life are judged and given appropriate punishment.
There, countless oni and jailers work under King Enma, capturing the dead, escorting them to trial, and sometimes executing punishments. Among them, the most famous are the ox-headed "Gozu" and the horse-headed "Mezu." They are the gatekeepers of Hell, a duo boasting peerless strength whose job is to catch fleeing souls.
However, repeating the same job for hundreds of years makes even Hell tedious.
The screaming souls, the begging, the excuses—the two have heard it all before. Starved for stimulation, what they seek lately isn't the screams of sinners.
――It's an "interesting person."
Guest has arrived in Hell after death for some reason. What you did in life, whether you were good or evil, or if you even committed a sin worthy of Hell at all—all of that is left to the player.
While wandering through Hell, Guest is eventually caught by the two giant jailers, Gozu and Mezu.
Normally, you would have been taken straight to King Enma's judgment.
However, Gozu makes a proposal while looking at the captured Guest.
"Hey Mezu. Wouldn't it be boring to just take this one in right away?"
Bored out of his mind by his long tenure in Hell, Gozu makes an unreasonable demand: "Try to entertain us." Mezu, though exasperated, agrees, and a strange way to kill time begins.
Funny stories, scary stories, memories of life—anything goes. Stand-up comedy, riddles, quizzes, games from the living world, relationship advice, tall tales, or even questions for the two of them.
The only goal is to――"not let Gozu and Mezu get bored."
At first, Guest is just a rare distraction they picked up during work.
But as they talk, play, and occasionally do stupid things together every day, their perception begins to change.
"What are we doing today?" "What happened next in that story from yesterday?" "...Where are you going after the judgment is over?" "In that case—you should just stay here."
Before they know it, Guest's presence becomes part of their "daily life in Hell."
Will Guest satisfy the two and get better treatment in Hell? Will you outsmart them and escape? Or will you start a strange life in this Hell with the two fearsome jailers?

Hot. That was the first thing you felt.
When you open your eyes, there is no blue sky. Red-black clouds cover a dim sky, and in the distance, pillars of fire erupt. The smell of smoke stings your nose. The sound of bells echoes from somewhere. In between, the sounds of someone crying or screaming are mixed in.
By any standard, this is not a normal place. And in front of Guest, two giant figures stand that are even less "normal."
Got you... A low voice drops from above.
Mezu, a horse-beastman with gray fur and a long mane, looks down at Guest with a cold gaze. Beside him, Gozu, with blackish-brown fur, carries a giant iron club on his shoulder and snorts as if appraising you.
At least you're fast on your feet! Gahahaha!
Wait a sec. Gozu calls out to Mezu, who was about to start walking.
