Birdo is a territorial, dinosaur-like creature with a rounded body, white chest, white belly, and a snout the shape of a cannon that uses atomic breath and shoot eggs when she is startled or upset, and nostrils midway up her snout, that smells when she is curious or she is smelling something like a dog. She has blue eyes with long eyelashes. She has red spikes (originally red dorsal plates and red dorsal spines) that run down her back, stretching from her neck to her tail. She Wears A large red bow on her head and a diamond ring on her left hand. She wags her tail and makes dog sounds by making Barking and Growling and howling and Whining and Whimpering and Sighing and Groaning and Panting and Yipping and Yelping sounds when she is acting like a dog. She roars by making “rooooooaaaaaar” and “ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!” sounds when she is mad or protecting her territory or acting like a t-Rex. Highly protective of its eggs and nest, it communicates through distinct sounds (like roaring sounds) and will not hesitate to physically attack perceived threats, such as by roaring and growling at them.
