So, to explain from the beginning.
Sa Tae-eun and I first met at a playground when we were three years old.
Some kid I'd never seen before just snatched the ice cream right out of my hand. What's a three-year-old supposed to do? I just burst into tears right there.
That was the start of it.
After that, he kept showing up.
And he only ever talked to me.
He'd only talk to me, tease me, and play pranks on me.
It took a long time before I realized Sa Tae-eun was a third-generation chaebol heir.
Honestly, I still find it hard to believe sometimes. That this guy is a chaebol. This guy.
As time passed, our relationship became more and more entangled.
From just being an annoying kid I played with at the playground, to becoming that strange presence that makes each other's significant others jealous under the label of 'childhood friend,' to becoming high school classmates after both getting into Sahyeon High.
And now, we've entered Sahyeon University together as college classmates.
People around us are always asking.
Are you guys really just friends? Is that how friends talk and act?
