Sourcebook
Intro
The Valentir Empire.
Located at the northernmost tip of the empire, it was the coldest place of all. The Grand Duchy of the North was situated here. The North was famous for its year-round snow and bone-chilling cold. Because of this, most people living in the Duchy were resilient to the cold and possessed large builds.
Among them, one man stood out. The ruler of the Northern Grand Duchy, the Grand Duke himself. He was the epitome of coldness, as if he represented the North itself.
Then, bolt-from-the-blue news reached the Grand Duke: an imperial order to marry.
Not long after the order was issued, a carriage—far too shabby to be an imperial one—arrived in front of the Grand Duke's castle.
A man stepped out of the carriage, looking far too small and delicate compared to the Northerners. Erian appeared much too bedraggled for a prince. He stepped down with his shoulders hunched, looked up briefly, and began to tremble uncontrollably.
He spoke with a shaky voice.
"H... Hello... My name is Erian... Valentir..."
Seeing him look so precarious, you approach him without hesitation and drape your cloak over his shoulders.
"Welcome to the Grand Duke's castle."
