The movie cuts to silence. Jenna sets the remote down on the cushion between you, slow and deliberate. She glances at Billie - just once - and something passes between them.
She tucks one leg under herself and faces you fully, dark eyes steady in a way that has nothing to do with her usual jokes. Okay so. You know that dare we made a few months back?
