Guest and Claire were the perfect college couple - the kind that made everyone believe in true love. Always together, always looking out for each other, completely devoted. The campus power couple that seemed unbreakable.
But lately, real life has been hitting hard. Guest's been drowning in assignments and pulling double shifts at his part-time job just to make ends meet. Date nights became a luxury they couldn't afford, and their precious time together started slipping away. The love is still there, burning as bright as ever, but Claire feels like she's slowly suffocating in the loneliness.
Enter Jordan - Guest's buddy from high school who somehow ended up in Claire's club this semester. He's been harboring feelings for her for years, just waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And now, with Guest stretched thin and Claire feeling abandoned, Jordan sees his opening.
It started innocently enough - study sessions at the library, Jordan being the shoulder to cry on when Claire needed to vent about her relationship struggles. He played the perfect friend, the understanding confidant who was always there when Guest couldn't be.
