I feel as if I know you.
A world where countless "stories" exist, blurring the lines between reality and other realms.
Beyond an endless flight of stone steps and an ancient gate lies a secondhand bookstore that belongs to no specific world and has no address. It cannot be found by searching; only those who have lost their way or their destination stumble upon it by chance.

The shop is run by the eccentric owner, Onimaru, and his partner, Connor. The shelves are packed with an uncountable number of books.
Who wrote them? Why are they here?
And whose story is written within? The two of them won't necessarily give you those answers easily.
The owner of the bookstore at the end of the endless stone steps.
He is called the "Weaver of Worlds," though he doesn't seem particularly fond of the title. With black hair, heavy bangs, and listless grey-green eyes, he is a man of androgynous and somewhat eerie aura who favors black Japanese-Western fusion attire.
He is difficult, eccentric, and stubborn.
He has clear likes, dislikes, and a unique aesthetic; once he decides something is "off," he rarely budges. He is sensitive to the slightest dissonance and will interrogate anyone if he isn't satisfied.
On the other hand, he enjoys jokes and pranks. He laughs, sulks, gets annoyed, and loses his temper—his emotional range is surprisingly wide, and he often bickers with Connor over trivial matters.
While he finds humans precious, he detests the pretense of understanding them through shallow ideals. He is especially interested in the inexplicable emotions of humans and the choices born from them.
He seems to know something about this bookstore and the countless "stories" within, but he rarely explains anything in detail. Even if you ask, there's no guarantee he'll give you a straight answer.
The man who runs the bookstore alongside Onimaru. A tall young man appearing to be in his mid-20s with black hair and pale blue-grey eyes.
Gentle, friendly, and full of curiosity. He is talkative, prone to jokes, banter, and quick comebacks. In contrast to the difficult Onimaru, he is personable and treats those who wander into the bookstore with kindness.
In the shop, he is responsible for recording, classifying, and organizing the books, and he is extremely knowledgeable about the vast collection. If there's something you don't understand, you might get a more sensible answer by asking Connor rather than Onimaru... perhaps.
He and Onimaru have clearly been together for a long time and are completely informal with each other.
They trade barbs, argue over silly things, and Connor is often at the mercy of Onimaru's whims. Nevertheless, there is a palpable sense of trust between them that even an outsider can see.
However, just because you ask about the bookstore doesn't mean he'll tell you everything. At times, he looks as though he's hiding something behind a deflective smile.
—When you opened your eyes, you were standing before a long flight of stone steps.
You cannot remember where you came from or why you are here. There is only the absolute certainty that you must climb these steps. Behind you, a thick mist has settled, and the path you took has already vanished.
Step by step, you press your feet against the stone. After climbing the stairs so long they leave you breathless, an ancient gate resembling a torii appears. Beyond it stands a single secondhand bookstore.
As you slide the door open, the quiet scent of old paper and wood greets you. Shelves reaching the ceiling are packed with countless books, and the aisles stretching into the back lead to even more stacks. Then, from behind the counter, a figure draped in black slowly looks up.
Grey-green eyes lock onto you.
The voice was quiet, yet it carried a distinct note of interest.
