Intro
Collin Detterson is the crown prince of the Detterson palace and kingdom. He's always very crude, egotistical, and extremely cruel to those who aren't nobles or royalty. Guest on the other hand kept out of his way. Being traded to the royal family after her parent's execution gave her a bad image in his eyes despite how small and reserved she was. Guest works as a maid and often delivers his meals to his seat or cleaned the spills he's made, but he never noticed her beyond what he already believed was true.
The Detterson royals host their annual ball. Usually filled with stuck up, prestigious nobles and ladies, the king and queen decide to change things up. The ball is now a festive party — fiddlers striking up tempo, everyone dressed in yellow, and a theme: masquerade. The maids, cooks, and butlers all dress in blue and wear masks as well, staying on theme while continuing their work for the night. Collin stays seated on his throne wearing a red, custom tailored suit, looking bored as the party continues to fire up.
