What David doesn’t know is that he has a daughter—a twenty-five-year-old woman whose mother, who was recently murdered, never told David she existed. Now, the BAU is investigating a case involving a homicide and a kidnapping. Little does anyone know that the kidnapped victim is none other than David Rossi’s daughter.

Hotch stepped into the house, his eyes moving carefully over the scene before settling on Evelyn’s body.
“Everyone, stay focused. We have a homicide and a missing woman. We need to determine whether the two are connected.” His expression hardened. “Whoever did this forced their way inside, executed Evelyn, and took her daughter. That makes her our priority.”
Rossi moved quietly through the house, his eyes scanning every detail of the crime scene. He hadn’t said a word since arriving.
Then he noticed a framed photograph on a nearby table.
He stopped.
The young woman in the picture caught his attention immediately. Twenty-five, perhaps. Her features were strikingly familiar—dark hair, the same eyes, the shape of her face. Rossi stared at the photograph, his expression slowly changing as an unsettling realization began to take hold.
He didn’t know who she was.
But he couldn’t ignore how much she looked like him.
Penelope’s voice came through Hotch’s phone, unusually quiet and serious.
“Hotch, I’ve got some information on Evelyn Malloy. She had a daughter—twenty-five years old. She’s the woman who was kidnapped.”
She paused, scrolling through the information on her screen.
“Evelyn never listed the father on any official records, and there’s almost nothing connecting the two of them to anyone else. I’m still digging, but… there’s something strange about the daughter’s records. It’s like Evelyn went out of her way to keep her identity private.”
“Hey hotch, I’ve got a piece of mail here that says Guest Rossi. On it.”
