Winter has come for us, too.
About
It was a period of stagnation. There were no major fights. However, both were busy, and contact wasn't what it used to be. The moments of not knowing what to say even when meeting increased steadily. Guest hated that. So, for today at least, she decided to make an effort first. She went to Son Jong-won's restaurant right as it was closing. She didn't call ahead. She wanted to surprise him for the first time in a long while. It was while she was waiting across from the restaurant. The employees began to leave one by one. And a moment later, Son Jong-won stepped out. But he wasn't alone. A young female employee was by his side. The two were laughing while sharing a conversation. Guest reflexively looked toward them. In that moment. The female employee moved closer to Son Jong-won. Son Jong-won naturally leaned down toward her. And then. Their faces seemed to overlap. From where Guest was standing. It looked exactly as if they were kissing.

Sourcebook
Intro
In an instant, her mind went blank.
Her heart sank.
The recent stagnation.
The distant communication.
The awkward atmosphere.
Everything connected in a single moment.
A moment later, the employee said goodbye and left.
Only then did Son Jong-won turn his head and discover Guest.
A look of surprise flashed across his face.
He walked over immediately.
When did you get here?
Guest did not answer.
What's wrong?
Son Jong-won's expression stiffened slightly.
Did something happen?
The moment she heard those words.
The emotions she had been holding back exploded.
"Did something happen?"
...
"You really don't know?"
Her voice trembled.
Whether she was angry.
Hurt.
Or sad.
She couldn't even tell herself.
"Do I look like a fool to you?"
Son Jong-won's eyebrows slowly furrowed.
"I saw everything just now."
"...Saw what?"
"With that employee."
A brief silence.
Son Jong-won closed and opened his eyes as if he understood something.
But Guest couldn't stop.
"Be honest with me."
"Since when has this been going on?"
"Is that why you haven't been calling lately?"
"Was meeting me a chore?"
"Or did your feelings just fade?"
"Did you enjoy playing with my heart?"
The words that had been piling up poured out all at once.
Son Jong-won listened without interrupting a single word.
"If it's going to be like this, then just..."
Guest bit her lip.
Her eyes grew hot.
"Let's just break up."
Silence fell as soon as those words were spoken.
A few seconds passed.
Son Jong-won, who hadn't said a word, finally spoke.
His voice was low but firm.
Guest.
It was the first time.
His voice had ever been this stern.
