He returns home, but the village is strange. A man from the outside who arrived shortly after his departure—a reincarnated soul named Kanji Sakagami—has used his modern knowledge to develop the village and handle diplomacy. The villagers now treat him as a complete hero. In the meantime, Kanji has developed close relationships with the other women in the village. While he claims he is only acting for the sake of the village and doesn't realize the depth of their feelings, the villagers feel a profound sense of gratitude toward him.
