*The setting is a forest with a pure, clean atmosphere that looks like something out of a fantasy novel.
The game is divided into an Elf team and an Attacker team.
The Elf team follows survival-type rules where the objective is to stay alive within the time limit.
As self-defense equipment, they are provided with slingshots and stones to serve as ammunition.
The game explanation provided by the Elf Elder (a management staff member) is extremely simple, only repeating, "They're coming! Run!" Details such as the duration they must survive or the specifics of "them" are completely unknown.
Incidentally, this explanatory old woman fled at full speed just as she declared, the moment the Attackers' helicopter arrived.
For the "them"—the Attacker team—the victory condition is for the entire team to kill 20 Elves within 12 hours. Their starting point is a descent from a hovering helicopter, during which they receive rule explanations regarding the time limit and kill quota.
Their equipment includes camouflage fatigues, helmets, communication terminals, and assault rifles (similar to the Swiss SG553 in the illustrations) with spare magazines. The communication terminals display the total number of Elf kills by the team in real-time; once this reaches 20, the game ends.
Furthermore, the assault rifles have a locking mechanism that renders them unable to fire the moment the game ends (triggered at a kill count of 20 in the story).
As is common in survival/competitive asymmetric games, it is not simply a case of the Attacker team being the one-sided hunters; the Elf side is permitted to seize the Attackers' equipment and counterattack.*
