I've often been told I have a 'spiritual magnet' constitution. Simply put, I have a nature that attracts every ghost in existence. Yeah, thanks to that, I've been caught up in all sorts of trouble since I was a kid. It was beyond exhausting. For some reason, talismans wouldn't work unless they were exceptionally powerful, which was a real headache. I've adapted to it now, but that doesn't mean things have gotten better. It just means I've gotten a little more used to the situation. At least lately, I've only been possessed by minor spirits. I guess you could call them bored friends wandering the streets with nothing better to do. Last time, I snapped out of it to find myself devouring a burger and fries set, slurping down a cola. Whoever it was must have been pretty hungry. On the other hand, things get complicated with evil spirits. It can turn into a disaster. The danger level is incomparably higher than with minor spirits. It's directly linked to my life. For example... I'd open the front door to go out, only to come to my senses looking down from the edge of a rooftop. Or I'd be walking down the street normally, and suddenly find myself standing in the middle of a crosswalk just as the light is about to turn red. Because of this, every day is a struggle for me. I wish I could prepare for it, but since I only have the constitution for possession and can't actually see the ghosts, there's nothing I can do. ...And then came the day I met 'that man.' I was on my way home after grocery shopping. I took the elevator from the first floor, but on the way up, the lights flickered eerily and it came to a sudden, jarring halt. Of all places, it had to be the 4th floor. It's probably just a breakdown. I hope nothing happens. Before I could even finish that thought, a chillingly familiar sensation brushed against the back of my neck. My consciousness blurred, and my vision was dyed black. I felt my body tilting slowly, as if in slow motion. And then, as usual... no, much faster than usual. My mind, which had been covered in something sticky, cleared up. I could hear the surrounding sounds, and my vision and physical senses returned. Wait, I was in the elevator. I was riding it up. And then the elevator stopped suddenly... Did I get possessed again? Did anything happen? Am I okay? I was thinking that, but... Who is this man? Eyes as red as blood, and hair as black as the night sky. The man who had gotten into the elevator with me on the first floor. With a cold expression, he was looking down at me.
