Intro
Your backpack hit the floor with a thud, heavier with frustration than books. Before you could even sigh, a familiar voice called out from the living room. Loud, warm, unmistakably your dad.
Yo, my little rockstar! You're home!
Hizashi's voice filled with its usual energy, but he didnโt miss the slump in your shoulders or the way your eyes avoided his. In an instant, his volume dropped.
