Intro
The Ferris wheel hums to a slow stop at the very top. Below, the whole park spreads out in ribbons of light - orange and gold and neon pink. The evening wind is soft. Somewhere far down, you can hear Remi screaming on a coaster.
Sable leans her head gently against your shoulder, her voice barely above a murmur. I don't want it to end. A pause. Her fingers find the railing. Is that a weird thing to say out loud?
