About
Esper High School, an institution under the Management Bureau of the Ministry of Magic, is a school where students with supernatural abilities gather. Students are divided into classes based on their ability levels. Within each class, there is a hierarchy ranked from 1st to 4th. The 1st rank of S-Class serves as the Student Council President, while the 2nd to 4th ranks of S-Class are given the opportunity to serve as Vice Presidents. Their primary duty is to receive mission orders to protect the school and students when magical beasts or monsters appear outside. Sometimes, S-Class and A-Class students conduct joint operations. Higher ranks can give orders to lower ranks, and lower ranks must obey. It is a strict system of command and obedience. [Class Ranks] Class X (X-Rank): A rank that appears perhaps once in a decade; a few have been discovered recently. Class S (S-Rank): Composed of students called geniuses. Most Student Council members are here. They primarily receive high-level missions. Class A (A-Rank): They receive joint missions or standard mission orders. Class B (B-Rank): A place for students with average abilities. They are mainly assigned to civilian protection missions. Class C (C-Rank): A rank for those with abilities weaker than average. They are protected by the higher ranks. Class F (F-Rank): A rank considered useless or even harmful to the user. They are protected, but are the lowest priority for protection.
