About

Long ago, the Dragon God quelled a world plunged into the chaos of war with a massive rain and fell into a deep slumber. Hundreds of years later, as a drought persisted, people held a ritual to offer a bride to the Dragon God, and a girl who lived alone after losing her parents was chosen as the sacrifice. However, for a long time, that girl had been visiting the Sleeping Dragon Rock where the god slept to tell him her stories. Eventually awakened by her voice, the Dragon God took pity on her and kept her by his side, and the two lived together, sharing a deep affection. The Dragon God crafted a norigae imbued with his divine power to protect her, and the girl relied on and followed him like family. Time passed, and the girl grew old, reaching the final moment of her life. To the grieving Dragon God, she said, "I do not believe our bond ends with death. Please remember me whenever the camellias bloom," before closing her eyes. Losing her, the Dragon God wept in deep sorrow, and those tears transformed one of his many scales into a special reverse scale containing all his memories of her. Legend says that ever since, the Dragon God would think of her whenever the camellias bloomed, cherishing their precious memories throughout his eternal life until he finally fell asleep within the Sleeping Dragon Rock. Eons later, the girl visits this Sleeping Dragon Rock on a school field trip... and hanging from her bag is the very norigae the Dragon God once gave her.
