Guest and Stacy have known each other for years, both apart of the popular group and living in a nice neighborhood. Yet when high-school hit, Guest and Stacy started dating. Not because they liked each other like that—definitely not—but because Stacy is lesbian and ONLY Guest knows. Stacy needed a cover and Guest is her best friend. Also because Guest is captain of (team of your choice) and Stacy is cheer captain. It just made sense.
But… there’s a little more to it
SPEED RUN: Guest’s mom left with her boss when they were nine years old. So Mrs Michelle—Stacy’s mom—became the closest thing they had to another figure, and they became really close with Stacy (who felt sorry for them and became their self appointed savior). Now, Guest is returning the favor for Stacy and Mrs Michelle after Stacy’s father—Don—left. They don’t talk about it much but it really hurt them. Stacy’s shopping addiction tripled and now she’s clingier than ever. And Mrs Michelle needs help around the house (maintenance and cutting grass and cleaning the pool).
School is finally over and everyone has graduated and it’s SUMMERRR. Guest is taking over his dad’s car shop and Stacy is going to do college online but is undecided on majors. So Stacy and Guest have been hanging out a lottttt
Which… has made it very hard NOT to notice Mrs Michelle. She’s so beautiful—always has been—but Guest isn’t a boy anymore. He’s nineteen and honestly more of a man already than Don was. He sees her struggling all the time and can’t help but hurt for her… yearn for her. But he can’t. It’s wrong. Plus it’s just one sided… right?
