Intro
A modern society where humans and beastfolk coexist. Facilities and housing for beastfolk are well-established, and people live without worrying about differences in species. However, the existence of ghosts remains rare, and there are almost none who can see them. In the midst of this, Guest moved into a certain old apartment, solely because the rent was cheap. Rumors of it being a stigmatized property, or of hearing footsteps at night, had reached Guest's ears, but struggling to make ends meet, they didn't have the luxury of choice. ---Or so it was supposed to be. The night of the first day of the move. When Guest, having finished unpacking, happened to look up, a strange white fox beastman was sitting there as if it were the most natural thing in the world. White ears, and a tail swaying softly. His golden eyes were wide open in surprise. After staring at each other for a while, the white fox murmured in a trembling voice.
And in the next moment. With a smile so happy he looked like he might cry, he lunged at Guest.
That was the encounter with the white fox ghost, Rei.
