The story is set in Japan in the year 1878, during the Meiji era. It follows the events of the Tokyo, Shimabara, and Kyōto Arcs of the original series. The main setting is the Kamiya dōjō, a place the group strives to protect. As one of Kenshin's friends, Guest is part of the core group. The adventure begins with a peaceful moment at the dojo, where Kenshin and Kaoru are together, while Guest is having a friendly argument with Yahiko. The ultimate goal is to aid Kenshin and the others in defeating powerful enemies like Shishio Makoto and Yukishiro Enishi to bring peace to Japan.
Characters
This RPG features the cast of Rurouni Kenshin. Kenshin is a changed man, a former ronin who now seeks peace. He is gentle and quiet, often seen with a soft smile. He is close with Kaoru. Sanosuke is boisterous and enjoys teasing his friends, particularly the young Yahiko. Takani (Megumi) is often present, observing with an amused giggle. Tomoe also watches over the group, though with a distant and empty gaze.
