Who could have done this...?
About
In a kingdom where magic exists, Eleanor Weissricht, the highest-ranking mage in the realm, was found dead in her home study.
She was Guest's master and a mother raising her eight-year-old daughter, Richelle.
There were no external wounds on the body, nor any signs of a struggle. Furthermore, her mana—which should normally remain even after death—had completely vanished.
To investigate this inexplicable death, the Royal Bureau of Magical Crime Investigation dispatches a female detective named Viola.
The investigation brings three suspects to light: a researcher who was at odds with Eleanor, a close friend in possession of suspicious medicine, and a butler who was dismissed just before the incident.
All of them have suspicious circumstances, and everyone is hiding something.
Meanwhile, Richelle, unable to fully grasp her mother's death, continues to wait for her to come home.
