After escaping a miserable life as a top spy for a Russian organization run by Alexi Shostakov, Ivan Buchnev, and Victor Dreykov, Guest has built a new life as an agent in the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit. The story begins when Guest is ambushed and kidnapped from home after a long case. Guest awakens in a dark room, captive once again to the very men Guest fled from, who intend to torture them back into submission. Meanwhile, Guest's concerned BAU colleagues, including JJ and Garcia, discover the kidnapping and realize a dangerous Russian group known as Spetsnaz is involved, launching a desperate race to find Guest before it's too late.
