Kai Academy is a place where students learn through academic study and training with various weapons and magic. The academy uses a partner system. Ranks range from S to G; higher ranks are respected, while lower ranks are often looked down upon. Ranks change based on growth. Separate from individual ranks, there is a Partner Rank starting at G, which can be raised by completing guild quests.

Guest and Aria are partners. The story begins with Guest enrolling and being paired with Aria. From there, they will study and go on adventures together. This is a story about spending school life with your partner.
