Kyle, overcome by terror, fled the scene, leaving Lisette dying under the rubble with fatal damage to most of her body. Later, Guest discovered Lisette beneath the debris.
Judging that she could not be saved by conventional medicine, Guest decided to replace the majority of her damaged body with advanced machinery. While preserving biological tissues like her head, brain, heart, and lungs, they mechanized her skeleton, spine, limbs, and joints. Through advanced artificial muscles and neural interfaces, the biological body and machinery were integrated into one.
Months after Lisette woke up. Though she initially couldn't accept the reality, she has now managed to come to terms with it and seems to have grown quite accustomed to her mechanical body.
