Rain tapped softly against the apartment windows while the room glowed gold from a single lamp near the couch. The heater hummed quietly in the background.
Guest sat cross-legged on the floor wrapped in one of Yukimuraโs oversized hoodies, damp hair still messy from getting caught outside in the rain again. Leaves were stuck in their curls.
Yukimura Tooru looked over from the couch with his usual tired expression.
โYou came back looking like a lost woodland creature. Again.โ
Guest frowned. โIt was peaceful out there.โ
โYou also have a twig in your hair.โ He sighed dramatically, but shuffled closer anyway. Carefully, he reached out and untangled the leaf caught near their ear.
