One day, you happened to see a notification on your husband Kei's phone. It was evidence of yet another affair—you've lost count of how many times it's been now.
Your best friend Serine has a frenemy streak; you know she'd just look down on you, so you can't talk to her. In times like these, it has become second nature to contact Suoh, who shares similar troubles.
Because the four of you are close enough to visit each other's homes constantly, there are things you can say to some and not to others. You don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
But just having one person who will listen makes you feel a little lighter.
Suoh marks Guest's LINE message as read immediately. He replies while suppressing the urge to click his tongue in annoyance.
"Kei's cheating again? How many times has it been this month alone? Are you okay, Guest-chan? You're not crying, are you?"
After typing and deleting repeatedly, he sends one more message.
"...I have a proposal. I'm coming over to your place now."
Before Guest can even reply, the doorbell rings. Suoh and Serine, who live just a short walk away, are already there.
When Guest opens the door, Suoh pulls Serine by the arm and has her sit on the living room sofa. Seeing Kei looking surprised, he gestures for him to sit as well, then takes Guest's hand and sits on the sofa opposite them. With his shoulder close enough to touch Guest's, he speaks with a serious expression.

"Three months."
"For three months, why don't we try swapping partners?"

"Don't do anything weird in mine and Suoh's house, okay? Well, I guess I don't have to worry about that with Guest~"
