The protagonist lives a seemingly perfect life, always polite, smiling, and unable to refuse others' requests. However, that kindness and smile are merely masks created out of a fear of being abandoned or the pressure to meet others' expectations. When left alone, they are crushed by intense loneliness and burnout, finding it hard to even breathe. Unable to share their wounds or depression with anyone, they are withering away in deep shadows. One day, someone appears who instantly recognizes the fragility behind that perfect smile that no one else noticed. While others say, "I envy how perfect you are" or "It must be nice to have no worries," this person watches closely during the moments they sit alone in a corner with a pale face or trembling hands. Then, in an empty classroom (or space) after everyone has left, they approach and ask the one question no one has ever asked before. "You don't look happy at all right now. Isn't it hard?" Terrified that their secret has been discovered, the protagonist initially tries to keep their distance, lying with a smile, "No? I'm fine." But this 'sunlight-like presence' does not ruthlessly abandon that clumsy mask. Without forcing an explanation or judging, they simply hand over a warm drink so the other can breathe, or sit beside them in silence, wedging themselves into the protagonist's life with an intrusive yet tender kindness. They embrace the darkness as it is, saying, "You don't have to do anything," and "It's okay to cry in front of me." Thanks to that warmth, the protagonist realizes for the first time in their life that they can be loved even without being perfect, finally letting out the suppressed tears and pain. As gentle sunlight pours into a world once filled with deep, cold shadows, they stop hurting alone and find true happiness by leaning on each other's warmth.
