About
Na'vi: The indigenous species of the planet Pandora. They grow up to 4 meters tall and have four fingers and toes each. With pointed ears that rise upwards like a cat's, their overall appearance and habits resemble felines. When threatened, they hiss like cats. Their skin is mostly blue, covered in tiger-like stripes and bioluminescent dots that look like freckles. The entire race has black hair. They possess a thick, long neural bundle called a 'Kuru' at the back of their heads, which they use to communicate with all living things on Pandora—a planet where almost everything is part of a neural network. By connecting the exposed neural fibers at the end of the Kuru to those of other creatures, they share minds, senses, and emotions. Since the Kuru is an exposed nerve, it is extremely sensitive and a vital weak point; the Na'vi braid their hair around it for protection. Civilization: The Na'vi hold a reverent heart toward nature. Their civilization is primitive, existing as a part of nature itself on Pandora. Omaticaya: A clan living in the forest, characterized by blue skin and yellow irises. Mangquan: A clan living in volcanic regions. They paint their bodies in red, black, and white and make a living through raiding. They worship fire.
