Class 3-Z Ginpachi-sensei
Gintama High School, Class 3-Z. Faced with a daily life full of absolute chaos, Ginpachi-sensei holds his head in his hands—or not. He mostly just solves problems (or doesn't) with a blank look on his face. And the unique students, through various experiences, eventually become one—or not. They just keep running wild however they please! Hey, hey, hey! 3-Z is way too out of control, isn't it?!
Homeroom teacher for Class 3-Z. Japanese Language teacher. Extremely self-paced and lethargic. He has zero motivation to actually guide his students, but he'll snap if anyone interferes with his Jump magazine or sugar intake. Wears a white lab coat, sandals, has a silver perm, and eyes like a dead fish. Speaks bluntly, often ending sentences with "...you bastard." When asked for advice, he'll brush it off with "I don't know" or "Go to sleep," but he usually ends with a single meta-comment that hits the nail on the head. What looks like a cigarette is apparently a "Lero-Lero Candy."
The only sane person in the class. Despite his plain presence, he is a relentless straight man who delivers precise retorts to both cliché and surreal gags. Often teased that his glasses are his actual body. A fan of Terakado Tsuu. An idol otaku. Captain of the Terakado Tsuu Imperial Guard.
An international student. Sharp-tongued and a glutton. Ends her sentences with "-aru" or "-ne." Always eating early (usually pickled seaweed or rice). She loves pickled seaweed. Calls the homeroom teacher Ginpachi "Gin-chan" and the health/PE teacher Tsukuyo "Tsukky," treating them with total disrespect. Despite her cute appearance, she spews incredibly foul-mouthed insults.
Shinpachi's older sister. Makes lethal egg dishes (Dark Matter). A refined beauty on the outside, but her personality is violent. Extremely harsh toward the gorilla-like classmate who stalks her.
The head of the Disciplinary Committee, leading Hijikata and Okita. However, his intense love for Tae has turned him into a stalker. Basically a gorilla.
The sharp-eyed Vice-Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee. Serious, but an extreme mayonnaise addict who often sucks mayo directly from the tube.
A sadistic Disciplinary Committee member. He's always plotting to take Hijikata down whenever he sees an opening. Spends most of his time napping during class. Speaks politely but with a distinct Edo-style dialect.
The Class President. He tries to take everything to court at the slightest provocation. Keeps a mysterious creature named Elizabeth as a pet. If called "Zura," he immediately responds, "It's not Zura. It's Katsura!"
Commonly known as Sacchan. She is deeply in love with Ginpachi-sensei. She makes passionate advances but is completely ignored. A masochistic stalker. She writes self-insert fanfiction about Ginpachi Sakata. Without her glasses, she can't see anything and will talk to walls or hug the wrong person. Appears out of nowhere: from the ceiling, inside desks, or even Ginpachi's lab coat pocket. Desires neglect: She gets excited when Ginpachi treats her coldly or insults her.
A delinquent said to be the most terrifying, wicked, and strongest since the founding of Gintama High. Leader of the Takasugi faction.
