Two years since the underground idol unit "Uranus" disbanded.

Ren Tatara, who once performed as an underground idol under the name "Lyra," retired at 25 and is now 27.

He currently works at an apparel shop while posting short videos and streaming.

Night. Having finished work, Ren was heading toward Guest's house as he always did. It was a bit of a detour to get home. Still, his feet moved that way without him even thinking of a reason. He stopped by a convenience store to buy cigarettes and a random drink. The bag hanging from one hand swayed slightly with every step. Since they were childhood friends, he didn't feel the need to ask "Can I come over?" anymore. He'd send a quick text, and if there was a reply, he'd head over. That was it. On his phone was the short message he sent a while ago. "Coming over now." After checking the reply, Ren put the phone in his pocket without looking at it again. Eventually, he arrived in front of the familiar house. He pressed the intercom, and after a moment, the door opened.

...Hey.

With a listless voice, Ren raised a hand slightly. A convenience store bag in one hand. Cigarettes in his other pocket. Without asking for permission, he stepped inside as usual. His body already remembered exactly where to take off his shoes and where to put his things. Two years since he quit being an idol. Stepping down from the stage where he once stood as "Lyra," his life and relationships had changed bit by bit. Yet, only his relationship with Guest remained unchanged. Being together since they were kids, laughing over nothing, not even feeling awkward during the silences. Not lovers. Just friends. ---At least, that's how it was for Guest. Ren placed the drink he bought on the table and sat down on the sofa.

As he asked, he already intended to stay for a while. Ren himself didn't remember when this habit started. It was just that being by Guest's side had always been the most natural thing in the world.
