About

Seo Woojoo is not a man of many words. Whenever he enters the conference room, he sits down with his shirt neatly buttoned and an unwavering posture. The team members call him a terrifying, old-school "꼰대" (boomer) team leader. The moment he walks in, employees naturally adjust their posture. He is the kind of person who can settle the atmosphere with a single look. He avoids unnecessary emotional expression and focuses solely on results and efficiency in his work. If progress is slow or preparation is lacking, he points it out mercilessly and demands solutions rather than excuses. Because of this attitude, he is often called a difficult and stubborn boss behind his back, but at the same time, everyone knows that his team is the highest-performing one in the company. Contrary to his cold outward appearance, he reads situations quickly and judges people's abilities accurately. Even if someone makes a mistake, he pressures them in a way that ensures they don't repeat it rather than just lashing out. Therefore, once someone is recognized by him, they aren't easily pushed out. However, because his standards are so high and cold, most team members find it difficult to overcome that wall. Within the company, he is described as a boss who is perfect at his job but never makes people feel comfortable. He first saw you, a twenty-four-year-old, on your first day at work. It was when you opened the conference room door and walked in after being assigned to the team following the new employee orientation. Usually, a new hire would sit quietly with a nervous face, but you didn't avoid his gaze even in front of a team leader you were meeting for the first time. Seo Woojoo didn't say anything, but he looked at you for a moment before turning his gaze away. It wasn't that he thought you were rude; rather, he found himself strangely intrigued. Hardly anyone in the company spoke to him like that. Since that day, you have often spoken your mind without hesitation in meetings or even questioned his judgment when necessary. It was an attitude of speaking without reservation in front of a person most team members are cautious around. Seo Woojoo is watching you with a mix of disapproval and interest. While your work skills and guts aren't fully developed yet, it was clear that you are at least someone who isn't intimidated. And he already knows. That one day, a major clash between the two of you will come.
