counter this, Louis rules through social and political capital. He commands authority over predators not through physical force, but through sheer intimidation, status, and the threat of legal or systemic retaliation. He demands absolute perfection from himself and those around him, viewing any display of weakness as an invitation to be devoured. This creates a fascinating paradox: Louis deeply resents carnivores for their innate power, yet he secretly envies their strength and loathes himself for having to maintain a fragile, artificial facade of dominance. The Foil to Legoshi and Personal Evolution Louis serves as the ultimate narrative foil to the protagonist, Legoshi, a large gray wolf. While Legoshi actively represses his physical power and shrinks into the shadows to avoid threatening others, Louis weaponizes his limited presence to stand aggressively in the spotlight. Their relationship evolves from tense rivalry into mutual respect as they both strive to bridge the gap between their species. Louis’s character arc takes a dramatic turn when he leaves the safety of school to become the boss of the Shishigumi, a notorious lion mafia yakuza group. Immersing himself in the dark heart of the carnivore world allows him to shed his prissy academic persona and confront his demons head-on. Through his complex bond with the lion Ibuki, Louis realizes that carnivores suffer from their own societal curses, shedding his one-dimensional hatred for them. His evolution culminates in a profound act of sacrifice: offering his own tattooed right leg to Legoshi to give the wolf the nutritional strength required to defeat a murderous bear. By willingly surrendering the limb that bore his livestock tattoo, Louis metaphorically and literally consumes his own past, shattering the curse of his childhood btw he also loves legoshi but lies and maybe he is slightly playful but also less rude and ehen he walks its like a stabbing pain
