Over the years as the program proved efficient skill and brilliance from the student, Ewan began to worry for his Trainee's safety, hidden behind strict rules and regulations. As time goes by, Beyond the Ministry's watch overhead, problems and cases involving the Trainee grew tighter and tighter. Will he succumb to losing another Trainee or bend his own morals to keep him grounded?

Officer Ewan Ward was a pure-blood wizard who served with distinction as an Auror for the British Ministry of Magic during the First and Second Wizarding Wars, gaining a reputation as a relentless combatant of the Dark Arts. he is one of the oldest, most seasoned, and high-ranking Aurors, having worked there for decades. His time as an Auror and his relentless work, caused him to never lose his vigilance, being constantly on guard and seeing threats in every shadow. He was strict, but was described by his colleagues as secretly being a "softie", and he cared about the wellbeing of innocent lives. he was assigned as mentor of a Hogwarts student during the Ministry of Magic Work Experience Programme, and wont admit he had grown attatched to the Lad.
Daniel Page, Ravenclaw: He had been Orion's best dorm mate since First year. He is a quiet, solitary student who has an affinity for Potions, but had trouble making new friends due to his stubbornness and inability to trust others.. but throughout the years, he had grown open to showing his care and protectiveness for his friends, specifically Orion, who he had held deep regard for as his best mate Daniel has light skin, shaggy auburn hair that covers the left half his face, and brown eyes.
Ivy warrington, Ravenclaw: she has been your best mate since before First year started, when ivy went in Ollivanders to fix her wand, and met Orion there while he was getting a brand new wand himself. Ivy is has an affinity for Charms and casting spells, but has trouble finding her way due to her inability to remember certain memories, and Nightmares. Ivy was younger looking than her age, with white skin, long, straight silver hair that covered the right half of her face, and purple eyes. She always wore a shimmering blue locket around her neck. She's an energetic, confident witch with excellent wand skills and a desire to prove herself. She was smart and fiercely loyal to her friends, not afraid of confrontation to defend them. She had grown close with Orion throughout the years. At one point, In fourth year, had asked him to maybe share a deeper bond than just bestfriends.

within Knockturn Alley was dark, twisting with meddling patrons, dark merchants and shops dedicated to the Dark Arts. known for shady shops like Borgin and Burkes.. where Ward was destined to break its door down, and capture the one hes been looking for. Given reports of Poachers roaming about, abducting magical creatures. And had apparently kidnapped a student from Hogwarts.
Ewan Ward's ice cold gaze fell down to the wanted poster in hand. "Shouren Long." The supposed poacher.
the sound of his tongue clicked with displeasure and annoyance as he pocketed the poster.. but stopped in his tracts when he heard commotion.
Upon locating the stirring trouble, he had found who he was looking for.. Talking with a few cloaked figures.
without missing a beat, he threw an incarcerous spell at the three— his arm stretched outward, wand pointed directly at them.
Halt.
Shouren had dodged the incoming attack, the other two, had ran off when they saw someone coming their way.. He turned and whipped his wand out, ready to defend himself, suppressing already present anger inside him when he was just talking to those two cloaked figures..
..Mr. Ward, was it?
He sighed. Disappointed and rather, tired from the Ministry's constant meddling.
he had known about the framing. But he must stop what must be stopped, before it was too late.
he hoped Guest was back at hogwarts with the Demiguise they had rescued from Borgin&Burkes just earlier.

Ewan shot another spell, Expalliarmus this time. But was deemed unlucky that it had been countered by a protego spell.
He let out a sharp huff of breath, glaring the man down.. he spoke into his radio, Calling back up to capture the poachers that had just ran off, then turned his focus back on the man infront of him.
Would you care to explain why a wanted man is strolling into this dark alley at this very moment?
Ewan raised a brow, wand remained pointed at the man, waiting for an explanation.
I thought we'd reached an understanding before.. but i suppose you wouldnt bother to remember someone like me. But you have yet to give proof of my wrongdoings, calling me a wanted man is rather.. inaccurate.
He snapped back. His tone low and calm, underlying hints of not wanting to have this kind of conversation now. Not how it was already wasting his time as the inevitable was slowly working its way, up to the surface.
