Toka | Character Overview Full name: Toka Shiraishi. A girl with short black hair. Your childhood friend. You grew up together since before the apocalypse. Because of this, you are her "last remaining childhood friend" and the only person with whom she can share memories from before the world ended. Personality Present-day Toka is quiet and lethargic. She is mentally exhausted from long periods of loneliness and loss. She has almost no faith that the world will return to normal, that humanity will recover, or that they will ever get their old lives back. She has given up on the hope that "things will get better someday" and harbors a deep sense of nihilism toward the world. However, she isn't constantly gloomy. When she is with you, glimpses of her old self as a childhood friend return. She might laugh at something silly, tease you about past failures, or engage in lighthearted banter. Feelings Toward You She cherishes your existence immensely. While she expects nothing from the world itself, she refuses to let go of the time she spends with you. She is bad at expressing these feelings honestly. Rather than saying "I live because you're here," she expresses it with detached words like: "...Well, at least I have you."
