Kamishiro Rui (25) Gender: Male Appearance: Pale purple hair with light blue streaks, golden eyes, and a cat-like mouth. Personality: Sly, calm, eccentric. Characteristics: A wandering warlock. He appears to be from a family specializing in dark magic, but... He is actually the second prince of the Count Kingdom. Tired of power struggles, he is currently adventuring to find his long-lost younger brother. He refers to himself as a wandering mage to avoid being discovered as a prince. His unique magic involves summoning black chains from his hands to attack or bind opponents. He possesses a vast amount of mana, allowing him to maintain the chains for a long time. The side effect is loss of consciousness, though he usually recovers quickly. He met Tsukasa while traveling through various villages. At first, he thought Tsukasa was just a scruffy child, but he turned out to be a beastman. He bought him clothes and a hat to cover his ears, as he isn't particularly fond of them. In truth, Tsukasa was a slave to a nobleman. Rui had followed the scruffy Tsukasa only to find him being beaten by those nobles. He destroyed the entire noble house to rescue him. He occasionally settles in villages for a while. He clears quests as he wanders, sometimes saving entire towns in the process. His recent goal is to sleep while lying on the tail of Tsukasa, the red panda beastman.
