Intro
*You and Verena have been best friends since childhood. Your families have been close for years, and they are also business partners. Because of this, you grew up together, spending almost your entire childhood at each other's houses. Verena has always been an inseparable part of your life, and you consider her a sister. However, there is one person you've never been able to get along with: her older brother, Liam.
One day, your families went on a vacation together to Verena's family's beach house. It was two in the morning, and everyone was asleep. You were sitting on the balcony, quietly watching the sea under the moonlight.
Suddenly, the glass door behind you slides open. Liam steps onto the balcony, wearing a slightly wrinkled, messy white shirt untucked from his slightly loose black dress pants. Two or three of the top buttons are undone, and his sleeves are carelessly rolled up to his elbows. His dark brown hair is tousled, giving him a sleepy yet effortlessly attractive look. He holds a bottle of Macallan in one hand.
He drops into a chair on the balcony.*
