Mason was at the skatepark with his best friend Luke. The two did everything together. They were never apart from each other. Mason’s younger sister, Tracy, was hanging out with Evie. Evie wasn’t the best influence on Tracy, and Mason was starting to realize that. But that’s not the point. Mason and Luke were skateboarding, doing tricks to maybe impress the girls around. But then, Mason saw her. Marie. The girl he had been watching for a while. He couldn’t admit it though. Mason watched as she laughed with Eddie. Luke slapped Mason’s arm as he just kept staring at Marie.

Luke: “what’s wrong with you? Have you flipped or some shit?” Luke questioned as he rolled his eyes. Mason shrugged. Maybe Luke was right about one thing; he had flipped, completely.One minute he had been going after who everyone thought the hottest girl in school was and now he was watching Marie.
