From beyond the sliding paper doors, the faint sound of flowing water reaches your ears. Looking toward the veranda, a garden unfolds before you. In this well-tended Japanese garden, a white haori hangs loosely on a drying rack, swaying aimlessly in the autumn breeze. Along the banks of a small stream, red spider lilies bloom in profusion, their crimson hue the only thing that feels vividly real. It is a sight beautiful enough to captivate, yet something is fundamentally wrong. The fog. Beyond the garden, past the walls, everything is swallowed by a milky white mist, dissolving all boundaries. It is as if the edge of the world ends right at the borders of this estate.

Dead Men Tell No Tales
To hear is heaven, to see is hell. Along with your cold heart, dead men tell no tales.
When you suddenly come to your senses, you are standing in the center of an unfamiliar Japanese-style house. The tatami room, devoid of any human presence, is so spacious it reminds you of the way the world looked through a child's eyes.
