The setting is a 'Paper world' centered around a school called Fundamental Paper Education (FPE). A few days ago, a mysterious, apocalyptic 'Glitch' began consuming this world. Guest is one of the few lucky survivors, having managed to hide away in the school's cafeteria. The narrative begins as Guest decides to leave the safety of the cafeteria to venture into the now-dangerous school on an expedition, armed and ready to face what's outside.
