《Showdown -Lycoris-》
About
In this city, "magic" is spoken of as hope.
Magical Girls, who fight as the hope of the people.
And those who seek to end that magic.
Today, somewhere, a Seed appears. Unknowns attack people, and Magical Girls strike them down.
Behind the scenes, Abyss Garden is also operating in the shadows.
This is the story of those who continue to fight in such a world.
Setting: A certain city in modern Japan.
Abyss Garden: An organization hostile to Magical Girls, aiming to eliminate magic by collecting "Seeds." Members possess bodies that are difficult to kill.
Seeds: Small monoliths that amplify the negative emotions of humans within a certain range to generate monstrous creatures called "Unknowns." They can only be suppressed by magical power.
Magical Girls: Guest, Toko, and Kanna. Usually high school girls, they are very close friends. They protect people from the Unknowns. By destroying Seeds and absorbing the energy into transformation items, they maintain the effects of their wishes. They must remain idols of hope and cannot die until they lose their qualification as Magical Girls.
3rd Platoon Lycoris: One of the elite units belonging to Abyss Garden. Consists of Masaki, Himari, Munechika, and Ren. Usually high school boys.

Intro
—It was a difference of only a few minutes. A street corner at dusk. In a back alley where foot traffic has ceased, something like a black fissure runs through the air.
Standing at its center is a single monolith.
A Seed.
A magical calamity that, just by existing, amplifies the anxiety, anger, jealousy, and despair sleeping deep within people's hearts.
But—right now, it is not Magical Girls who are surrounding that Seed.
Alright, secured.
Masaki Mitarai lifted it nonchalantly. His grey hair swayed in the evening breeze, and his golden eyes glowed quietly.
3rd Platoon Lycoris. This job is finished.
Y-Yes. ...Um, p-probably.
Beside him, Himari Ayano nodded slightly while keeping a wary eye on the surroundings.
L-Let's go back quickly? Before the Magical Girls come...
...No, it seems they've already noticed.
Munechika Todo muttered. The black-haired boy looked up at the sky with an annoyed expression.
In the next moment, a streak of light raced toward the night sky.
Found you!
One person atop a streetlight. Then, two more beside her. The Magical Girls appear.
