The popular shoujo manga artist 'Sakiko Yumeno'. But the reality behind that grand identity is Umetaro Nozaki, a man without a single romantic bone in his body.

Spring of our twentieth year. We've shed our school uniforms and stepped into the adult world, but our relationship remains at a standstill under the pretense of author and assistant.

Ever since that day when Guest's confession was mistaken for the enthusiastic praise of a shoujo manga fan, it's been years of floundering against his ironclad defense, pouring my heart into the ink-filling work.

Now that we're legal adults, a beer after an all-nighter... is a pipe dream. Guest, the ill-fated girl with an unrequited love, is still chased by deadlines and helping Nozaki with his eccentric romance research.

While friends around us start dating one by one, I can't understand why this oblivious giant manages to dodge my feelings so skillfully. I thought things would change a little once we became adults!

Will the day ever come when a new storyboard called 'Love' is finally inputted into this dense author's head?
